Idea
Internships abroad — preferably during on-the-job training — are the best way to motivate and reward your apprentices. It could also be a successful way to increase the attractiveness and perception of your company for future apprentices and to gain advantages in the competition for successful school graduates. In addition, your company benefits from the independence and flexibility the apprentices acquire abroad. For these reasons CAEF promotes an exchange of apprentices in Europe.

Registration
Registration for the programme is open. We have already received first registrations from foundries of different countries. As CAEF member company, you can simply enter your contact details in the form at the homepage, without obligation. Afterwards you will receive the password to download the contact list of interested foundries. The list will be updated regularly and is available for free.

Organisation
You may contact the foreign foundries directly and unbureaucratically and organise the exchange completely independently.

In addition, CAEF assists you with:

  • your search for a suitable internship
  • your application for funding
  • the clarification of formalities
  • and the preparation of the stay abroad

Frequently Asked Questions
Since many organisational questions arise at the beginning, we have collected the most important questions and their answers.

If you are interested in organising an internship abroad for your apprentices, we will be happy to assist you.
